Citylone products use Power Line Communication technology (or PLC) which allows data transfer through existing electrical network, without any additional cabling) and communicate on LonWorks®network. This ISO standardized infrastructure allows all equipment to communicate together, even if they are provided by different manufacturers. Interoperability of this system allows all nodes (equipments) to be integrated in the same system without need of another equipment of a development tool.

Thanks to LonTalk® protocol (communication protocol on LonWorks® network), communications between controllers are always reliable. Segment controller is permanently seeking best way to reach a luminary and has capacity to make repeating signal from controller to controller, even in case of failure, since it reaches all its targets.

Citylone range allows driving of magnetic, electronic and DALI ballasts, in ON/OFF or dimming, with or without additional output, for all kind of lamps (sodium, metal iodide, LEDs..) and can be placed inside the pole, in the junction box or on a wall.
